We’re big fans of Lauren Bush — not just ’cause she’s the greenest of the famous Bush clan —  but also for her commitment to helping others through her FEED campaign. So, it’s no surprise that we’re thrilled about the launch of her new socially conscious fashion brand “Lauren Pierce“.

Yesterday afternoon marked the official opening of the 17th annual Environmental Film Festival in Washington D.C.

The reigning champ of Hollywood green, Ed Begley Jr., will make an appearance (again) on The Simpsons this Sunday. According to his rep, Ed will be driving an electric car in the episode — though we’re not sure yet whether he’ll be mocked or praised for the choice of vehicle.

Only Jack Johnson could create a song about the recycling that’s not only easy on the ears, but worth repeat listening. His “The 3 R’s” song off of the Curious George soundtrack is a favorite on the green scene
